Snoop Dogg and guests come to the Gleneagle INEC Arena
Snoop Dogg brings his ‘I wanna thank me tour’ to the INEC on the 17th of September, 2022. His career spans 30 years, collaborating with some of the biggest stars and playing the biggest shows and venues around the world. Debuting on Dr. Dre’s first solo single back in 1992, few would have predicted the success he built. He has achieved global fame, tens of millions of record sales, and a successful career in tv and movies. In particular, his collaborations on songs like ‘Still DRE’ and ‘The Next Episode’ with Dr. Dre have become classics.
The chart-topping hip-hop artist has multiple number 1’s as well as appearing in some of your favorite movies, including Starsky & Hutch, The Wash, and Training Day. He recently performed at Superbowl LV1 with Dr. Dre, Eminem, 50 Cent, Kendrick Lamar, and Mary J. Blige. According to Rollingstones.com ” It was a triumph. Dr. Dre presided over an all-time great Super Bowl blowout, rocking alongside Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, 50 Cent, Kendrick Lamar, and Anderson.Paak on drums”.
The forthcoming tour sees the West Coast rap legend touring in support of his 17th album I Wanna Thank Me, and a documentary of the same name, released earlier this year. I Wanna Thank Me celebrates 25 years of the Snoop Dogg, a career that has seen the Doggfather cement his undisputed influence on music with chart-topping, multi-platinum records, while also solidifying his importance to wider culture as an actor, businessman, and more across the board. The tour reflects this and sees Snoop Dogg enlist a selection of his key collaborators from the breadth of his iconic music career including further West Coast hip hop royalty; Warren G, Tha Dogg Pound, Obie Trice, and D12. They will also be joined by the multi-million streamed Irish rap duo Versatile.
